In preparation for your stay at Scottsville Camp and Conference Center

Rules are from the Texas Department of State Health Services

1. Camp Medical Nurse (for Children and Teen Camps)

Each Camp Director is required to provide a Camp nurse for their group. A nurse’s station is provided for at a cost of $75.

Minimum requirement is a First Aid Certification from the Red Cross.

You will need to have a copy on file with the Camp office.

2. Background Checks on all your workers that work with children or teens:

They do not need to be on file with the camp.

We would only need to see the files if we are being inspected by the Texas State Health Services Department and then we would ask for them to be presented.

Please check in with the Camp Office upon arriving and departing. All financial obligations should be made prior to departure.
